Cringeworthy: A Theory of Awkwardness - Melissa Dahl. What does it mean to be cringe or to be embarrassed? I think the writer comes to more more practical and realistic conclusions than asserting that ‘cringe is dead’.
The Longing for Less: Living with Minimalism - Kyle Chayka. A fascinating glimpse into the rich history of minimalism. I put it here because the author talks about how this lineage of art and culture puts forward the notion of presence without interpretation or explanation, which I think is a valuable and overlooked way of seeing things for people in otherkin communities.

Introduction to anomalistic psychology - Royal Institute & Chris French. Anomalistic psychology investigates paranormal claims without assuming there’s anything paranormal involved. It doesn’t set out to disprove paranormal claims but doesn’t take claimants at face value either.
Why homeopathy is pseudoscience - Nikil Mukerji & Edzard Ernst (or, a primer on bullshit). This isn’t to talk about homeopathy, this article is a good primer into the emerging field of bullshitology. Bullshit in this context refers to the idea that someone is neither lying nor telling the truth but speaking with disregard as to whether they are true. I think bullshit has a lot of explanatory power in our post-truth, hypperreal society, and I think it’s useful to get a grasp on - someone might not be lying or telling the truth, they might be bullshitting instead.
